We are finally through a long and wet harvest, but the combine harvester is safely back in its shed.      Autumn is a great time to visit Perthshire with lots of walks on our doorstep, both low and high ground.   The Perthshire autumn colours are famed, and there are red squirrels at the cottages currently.   It’s a great time of year for being out and about.

There is lots to do, with Horsecross Arts running an interesting programme of Art, Films and Music for all tastes.

And the wonderful Perthshire food is waiting to be sampled, from farm shops to restaurants.  We have a great selection on our doorstep.    Do check out the Perthshire weekly recipe on the Local Activities page – some great ideas and a guide on where to buy what you need to make these.
